Juan Jose Cercadillo García recibe el premio populares Nueva Alcarria

Juan Jose Cercadillo received last night at the Buero Vallejo Theatre the Populares Nueva Alcarria award, granted in the Business category due to his logistic development Puerta Centro – Ciudad del Transporte.

Puerta Centro - Ciudad del Transporte is expected to become the largest logistic platform in the Iberian Peninsula, with more than 2.2 million square metres. Some of the most important logistic operators, such as Luis Simoes, XPO, Inditex... are already present in the platform. Besides, the intermodal platform of the Port of Tarragona is also worth mentioning, as it will promote the use of railway good transport from and towards Europe, which will imply an important time and cost saving and a higher accuracy guarantee as regards deadlines for the reception and issuance of goods of the operators located in this platform. Puerta Centro bets on sustainability, on respecting the environment with a correct integration in the area and on an efficient use of energy through the use of solar energy, taking advantage of the large potential of the wide and flat roofs of the logistic premises and of the parking areas for heavy duty vehicles. It is a multifunctional space specialized in distribution and transformation logistic functions with complementary services such as the large parking lots for heavy duty vehicles which make this platform a reference in its sector.

Juan Jose Cercadillo, CEO de Hercesa, wanted to thank all attendants for this award, which has meant a recognition of his perseverance and good work throughout all these years during which he has led a company with a proven experience in the residential sector both in Madrid and in the Corredor del Henares area, and which is currently developing 2,600 residential units. Besides, it is nowadays the undisputable leader in the logistic development of the Corredor del Henares area and keeps on consolidating its positioning in the sector with new logistic projects, such as Si-20 in Cabanillas del Campo, S3 in Chiloeches, and Polígono del Ruiseñor in Guadalajara.
